Dial Making
Sunburst Dial:
The creation of our sunburst dials are a ritual of refinement, where raw metal is transformed into a canvas of living light. Each dial begins as a flawlessly machined brass disc, then enters a stage of artistry reserved for the most skilled hands in watchmaking. As the surface turns on a precision spindle, ultra‑fine abrasives sweep outward in a single, continuous motion, engraving delicate rays that radiate from the heart of the dial. These microscopic lines capture light with extraordinary sensitivity, giving the surface its unmistakable, luminous character.
Once the grain is perfected, layers of colour pigment are applied with the same level of devotion and transparent lacquers settle over the dial in whisper‑thin coats, enhancing the depth of the pattern without obscuring its natural brilliance. Every layer is cured and inspected with uncompromising attention, ensuring a finish as immaculate as it is enduring.
Finally, each dial goes through precision manual pad printing of the logo and indices on each dial.
The result is a dial that feels almost alive. As the watch moves, light glides across the surface in a slow, elegant dance—brightening, deepening, shifting with every angle. It is this interplay of radiance and shadow that makes the sunburst finish a signature of true luxury: timeless, expressive, and irresistibly captivating.
A sunburst dial is more than a detail. It is a celebration of craftsmanship, a testament to patience and precision, and a quiet reminder that beauty, when shaped by expert hands, can be both subtle and spectacular.
Lacquer Dial:
Lacquered dials embody the soul of fine watchmaking — a fusion of artistry, precision, and timeless elegance. Each dial begins as a simple brass canvas, transformed through a meticulous, multi‑layer lacquering process that creates extraordinary depth and a mirror‑smooth finish.
Ultra‑fine layers of lacquer are expertly applied, cured, and refined one by one, building a rich, glass‑like surface that captures light with unmatched clarity. This slow, deliberate craftsmanship ensures flawless colour saturation and a luxurious sheen that stands apart from ordinary finishes.
Once perfected, the dial becomes the stage for refined details — pad printed indices, logos, and finishing touches that elevate the watch into a true statement piece.
Lacquer dials aren’t just components. They’re miniature works of art, crafted to endure, designed to captivate, and made for those who appreciate beauty in every detail.
Guilloché Dial:
Guilloché is where mechanical mastery meets pure artistry. Each dial begins as a blank sheet of metal, typically silver, and transformed through the centuries‑old technique of engine turning — a process performed entirely by hand a rose‑engine machines, only a handful of people own and have mastered this art. Every sweep of the cutter carves a crisp, shimmering groove, building mesmerizing geometric patterns that dance with the light.
Unlike stamped textures, true guilloché is alive, performed on a rose engine. Its depth, brilliance, and tactile beauty come from hundreds of precisely engraved lines, each guided by the steady rhythm and trained intuition of a master artisan. The result is a dial that feels both timeless and unmistakably luxurious — a signature of haute horlogerie.
Once engraved, the dial is refined, with up to 10 layers of translucent enamel, to enhance its radiance before receiving its final pad printing details including logo and indices. What emerges is not just a watch component, but a miniature work of art: intricate, luminous, and crafted to endure for generations.
Guilloché dials speak to those who value authenticity, craftsmanship, and the quiet power of true hand‑made beauty.

Watch Case Making
316L stainless steel is used in the Enchant Canadian Nord Collection watch cases due to its excellent corrosion resistance and durability. The alloy combines iron with chromium, nickel, and molybdenum, creating a skin‑friendly material where the nickel remains safely bound and does not irritate the skin. The 316L steel watch case is strong enough for everyday wear, though not completely scratch‑proof. Its major advantage is that it can be polished back to a like‑new finish during servicing, ensuring long‑term longevity and appearance.
Watch Straps
The beavertail leather strap from the Canadian Nord Collection embodies a refined, elegant character. Crafted to enhance the natural style of each timepiece, it offers a sophisticated look while maintaining the durability and comfort expected from Enchant’s Canadian beavertail leather straps. Designed to complement the Canadian Nord Collection, this strap adds a distinctive, upscale touch that elevates the overall presence of the watch.
Storage:

Movement Maintenance
The balance of an Enchant, Canadian Nord Collection the Swiss Calibre movements completes a total of 518,400 alternations in any given 24-hour period, meaning that it is accelerated to top speed 518,400 times a day. These alternations put a strain on the movement, which acts as the engine of a mechanical watch. Despite this strain, a Enchant watch only needs to maintenance every 3-4 years.
